“ This is a fan favorite for date night and special events for my family. Service is amazing, the wait staff is always on point. If the head chef ever offers to come talk to your table it is a remarkable opportunity he is an awesome storyteller who has cooked for some extremely notable clientele. Do not let this restaurant go unnoticed. I will recommend you most likely need reservations ”
“ Really great place for dinner. I think next time I'll leave the kids at home since it's a pretty small dinning room. The food takes a while to come out but is very flavorful. I think the only dish we had was kinda not that great was my son's spaghetti and meatballs. Meatballs tasted like sam's club meat balls and they werent even hot. My seafood pasta was great and my wife got the filet gnocchi which was also great. Service was a tad slow and our waiter didn't really go in depth what the specials are, kinda rushed thru it. Overall food was great so that's what really matters. If I could change something, I'd avoid the spaghetti with meatballs and maybe ask for the filet to be medium or med rare. ”
“ Da Vinci Ristorante Italiano in Richmond, Texas, delivered an absolutely unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we walked in at 9:22 PM—just shy of closing—the warmth of the atmosphere and the professionalism of our host, Abel, set the tone for an exceptional evening. Abel’s knowledge of the wine and meal menus was nothing short of impressive, and his eloquent pronunciation of various pastas and wines had me genuinely questioning whether he was of Italian descent or American. His attention to detail and top-tier service made us feel welcome, never rushed, despite the late hour. The food itself was a masterpiece—flavors that were rich, authentic, and beautifully crafted. I very rarely order dessert, but Abel recommended the cheesecake, and when I tell you the only thing left were the sparklers and the plate itself—I mean it! It was that good. And as for the soup he suggested, I don’t even remember the name, but it had mussels in it with cheese. Now, I do not like clams, mussels, or whatever else was in that soup, but somehow, it was so good that I finished the entire bowl. That alone speaks volumes. I’ve been going to Carrabba’s for years, but after this experience, Da Vinci’s has won me over. I’ll definitely be coming back! ”
“ This restaurant is excellent, from service to quality of the food. The sauce remembers an Italian sauce. However, you are in an Italian American restaurant, so the size of the entrees is big. We ordered an antipasto, and to be honest, we barely ate the entree because we were full. I will skip the antipasto and go directly to the main one. But you can take out the remaining food if you would like to. ”
“ Abel and Ryan were awesome, gracious, and hilarious. Came here for mother’s day with my family (who’ve all been here except for me). Food was incredible. Small authentic Italian atmosphere. ”
“ Delicious food, unique restaurant! I wish it was closer to home for us. We went with friends. Our server (Shannon) described each of the dishes to us from the chalkboard menu. That is right up our alley - we are foodies at heart. Our group of four shared the scrumptious crab cake with extra lump crab meat, Caprese, and another appetizer. My husband and I shared the surf and turf. We finished off the night with chocolate mousse (made in house) and beautifully presented!! Highly recommend this place and suggest making reservations because it’s a small place. We will be back! ”
“ I have heard about this restaurant for a while but every time I called, they were booked. Yesterday (Wed) was my mom’s birthday so I decided to bring her here & OMG! This restaurant has now become my absolute favorite restaurant. It’s small (which is why is often booked) but the ambiance makes you feel like you’re in small town in Italy, the music adds to the ambience and the service is just superb! I wonder if our waiter was the owner because he was truly amazing (the other staff were great as well). Now let’s talk about the food. The flavor was fresh & unique. We loved it. The presentation was over the top and super cute! From the salt & pepper, to the plates/bowls, to the spoons & the coffee cup! Just amazing! I will come here next time I’m having a bad day, a sad day, a happy day, a special celebration, an intimate meeting, date night, birthday or just anything I want to create a memorable occasion for. We loved it! ”
“ Da Vinci Ristorante Italiano captures the spirit of Italian dining with its cozy, elegant atmosphere and warm hospitality. The decor feels authentically Italian, blending rustic touches and artistic details that create a welcoming space for both intimate dinners and special occasions. We were invited to this restaurant, and our friends kept talking about it for so long that we finally had to see for ourselves — and it truly lived up to all the praise. The menu is a true celebration of Italy’s culinary tradition. Freshly made pastas like the rich fettuccine Alfredo and the delicate lobster ravioli stand out for their bold flavors and perfect texture. Wood-fired pizzas arrive with crisp, airy crusts and high-quality toppings. Seafood and meat dishes, like the tender veal scaloppine and the branzino, are prepared with great attention to authenticity and flavor. Each plate is thoughtfully presented, balancing rustic charm with refined technique. Desserts at Da Vinci are just as memorable. The house-made tiramisu is light, creamy, and perfectly balanced, while the panna cotta and cannoli offer a sweet finish that lingers beautifully. Paired with an Italian espresso or a dessert wine, they round out the meal with a perfect touch of indulgence. Service is attentive and knowledgeable, with staff eager to help you select the perfect wine or dish. Although it can get busy during peak hours, the overall experience remains smooth and enjoyable. Da Vinci Ristorante Italiano is a wonderful choice for anyone craving authentic, beautifully prepared Italian cuisine in a warm and charming setting. ”
